I am a freelance author and illustrator. I spend most of my time making up stories and turning them into pictures - preferably with lots of odd characters and detail.

As a kid, i aspired to be like my idol, Pippi Longstocking. Later on I wanted to be like Astrid Lindgren, who had made up all the great role models of my childhood. So I started writing books and drawing pictures – long before I even knew this could be a profession.

In 2021, I graduated from Muenster School of Design. My final project is a picture book named „Holgers Haus“ ("Holger's House"), that got published at Knesebeck Verlag and is now the fist of a small handful of books that I wrote and illustrated.

​

The book revolves around the question what makes a home. I think that for me, home is where I can peacefully draw and work on my stories. Which technically could be anywhere in the world - right now, it is in my small studio here in Bochum, Germany, where I live.

In October 2024, the first book will be out on the English market. "Worm's Lost & Found" will be published at NorthSouth Books, which is more than exciting!
