The sound dealer is a specialist in particularly sonorous requests: a ghost needing scary noises, a street lamp that feels lonely at night, a desperate clown whose circus orchestra is ill ... for all of these customers, the sound dealer will pack a personalized bag in his magical shop: he drops in the sound of squeaking doors and cat cries or a spoonful of car horns with a pinch of swearing at a red light. Kathrin Rohmann's texts are full to the brim with crazy characters and fantastic places - above all the sound dealer's shop itself. That's why I had so much fun illustrating the stories!
